Established in 2018, Future RHYS is at the forefront of improving computational efficiency in system code processes. We are proud to introduce our flagship product, the RHYS (Re-imagined Thermal-Hydraulic System Assistant) GUI. This cutting-edge tool is engineered to revolutionize the workflow of the ISS system code by integrating a seamless and intuitive visual interface.

RHYS stands out as a pioneering UI extension, meticulously crafted to optimize the performance of the ISS ASYST and RELAP/SCDAPSIM system codes. With its comprehensive approach to streamlining the workflow—from constructing input models and running simulations to analyzing results—RHYS elevates the efficiency, usability, and reliability of thermal-hydraulic simulations. It transforms the complex landscape of thermal-hydraulic modeling and simulation into an accessible and manageable process.

Developed using QT C++, RHYS leverages the full potential of QT’s cross-platform capabilities, ensuring a broad accessibility and seamless operation across various operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. This versatility, coupled with the ability to run on affordable personal computing devices, positions RHYS as an indispensable tool in the thermal-hydraulic simulation domain.

RHYS enables quick and comprehensive model understanding, streamlining the initial review process and helps check the correctness of input models.

Seamlessly create or modify models with RHYS’ graphical interface. Tailored for usability, it offers dual input methods: a user-friendly UI for newcomers and direct editor interaction for seasoned users. Features like ‘Search component ‘, ‘Subsystem Grouping and ‘Strip Creator’ enhance efficiency, making model construction and editing a breeze.

RHYS Simulation

Engage with dynamic simulations through RHYS’ link with ASYST or RELAP/SCDAPSIM, featuring controls for running, pausing, stopping, and more. Visualize real-time data with graphs and heat maps, and gain insights into each simulation step with detailed run status information. RHYS also allows input deck internal plot cards to seamlessly integrate into the simulation for an enriched analytical experience. These features improve users’ understanding of the model design and provide clear insights into significant equipment and parameter variations, along with operational behaviors during various accident scenarios, which significantly aids in debugging and optimizing the model based on real-time feedback.

RHYS Plot

RHYS-PLOT supports the rapid and batch generation of plots from calculation results directly, which helps user quickly analyze and interpret data. This simplifies the process of reaching conclusions and making decisions informed by the simulation results. RHYS-PLOT also supports data extraction into Excel for further independent analysis.
